Zee was been nominated for "Best New Artist" for 2006 at Rapzilla.com, one of the leading websites for Holy Hip Hop news, reviews and more. Zee's heavy hitting dirty south song "Moufs of Da Souf," which features six other emcees from across the nation has also been nominated for "Song of the Year." If you haven't heard that song yet, visit www.thezeesite.com and check it out!
Zee's song "Moufs of Da Souf" was voted one of the Top 30 Songs for 2006 on Holy Culture Radio's mixshow 3rd Coast Fiyah hosted by DJ D-Lite. This heavy hitting banger came in at #8 y'all! Thanks for all of your votes! Lets make it happen for Jesus Christ in 2007!
Our newest TRC Entertainment family member, Zee, has been making some major moves lately with his debut effort Livin' Proof. Deemed "the hardest working woman in Gospel," Vickie Winans was given a copy of Livin' Proof and she had this to say about it, "WOW! THANKS SO MUCH! YOUR MUSIC AND LYRICS ARE BANGIN' HARD! I LOVE IT! I HAD THE WHOLE PLACE STRAIGHT BOOMING!!!!!!!" Yes,those are her exact words.
It also seems that Gospel City thought Livin' Proof was worthy enough of a review. Check out what they had to say... "Zee’s [delivers] potent lyricism, sprinkled with wisdom, whimsical moments, and of course the truth that shatters ears." Read the full review. With his motto "Ministry before Entertainment," expect more great things from Zee coming in 2007. |
Chris Robinson Does Lunch with UNCG
Students, staff and visitors young and old on the campus of University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG) found themselves engaged in thunderous applause to the warm and heartfelt piano and keyboard tunes of Greensboro’s very own jazz virtuoso Chris Robinson on Tuesday, February 6. The performance which is part of the Lunch Series of Cultural Music program sponsored by The Office of Multicultural Affairs, took place in the front corner of the Elliott University Center Food Court at the West Entrance of the center.
His audience comprised primarily of students, staff, and faculty was seated at tables and lounges on both floors of the center having their lunch. Heads bobbing, fingers popping, and feet tapping could be seen all over the center. Many on-lookers stopped by to request their favorite songs and offer well wishes and thanks to Chris and the TRC Entertainment staff.
Hats off to UNCG for a wonderful Lunch date! |
